Moscow, August 30. Today the Sukhoi Company handed over another batch of Su-34 frontline bombers to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation according to the 2016 State Defense Order. The aircraft took off from the V.P.Chkalov Novosibirsk Aircraft Plant’s airfield and headed to the place of their deployment.
At the present time the aircraft plant operates with maximum efficiency. The State Contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for supplies of the Su-34s to the Russian Air and Space Forces up to the year 2020 guarantees a stable work load of the Sukhoi Company for the coming years and identifies long-term development prospects. Currently, Su-34s operate successfully in the military and demonstrate high performance.
Sukhoi is a United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) subsidiary.
June 22, 2021 MC-21-310 flight-test aircraft equipped with the Russian PD-14 engines arrived form Irkutsk Aviation Plant, a branch of Irkut Corporation (part of UAC, Rostec State Corporation), to Ulyanovsk Vostochny airport.
The agreement on the modernization and licensed production of IL-103 in Hungary was concluded on March 17 between Ilyushin Aviation Complex (part of Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) under Rostec State Corporation) and the Hungarian company Aviation Engineering Zrt.
