The 10-th International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2011 was held in Zhukovsky, Moscow Region, from August 16 to August 21, 2011.

From April 22 to April 23, 2011, the first International Aviation Forum was held in Ulyanovsk. The Forum became a high level business platform addressing key issues of strategy and tactics for the development of aviation transport and allied industries.

Moscow, March 3, 2011. Today the second prototype of advanced fighter of the 5th generation made its first flight in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. The aircraft was piloted by honored test pilot of Russia Sergey Bogdan. The duration of flight was 44 minutes.

In October 2020 UAC’s Strategic Skill Pool program was completed. All the participants of the program were awarded with diplomas and souvenirs. All teams of the program’s participants worked hard to prepare and present their projects to the members of the Corporation’s Executive Board.

The photographs of the Antonov An-148 regional jet made on June 11, 2009, when the first example of the aircraft built in Russia was rolled out from the assembly shop of the Voronezh plant VASO, give a clue on the amount of composite materials used in the aircraft. The aircraft was depicted when undergoing high-inside-pressure tests in the open air.

On July 14-20, Farnborough, a town in Hampshire, England, 30 miles west of London, hosted the 46-th Farnborough International Airshow 2008. This time the Airshow was attended by 1,500 companies from 39 countries. This year the Airshow in Farnborough celebrated its 60th anniversary. Russia has been showing its civil aircraft in Farnborough since 1984 and military aircraft since 1988. The Farnborough International Airshow is held every two years.
